Happy varaha jayanti
___
Varaha Jayanti is a Hindu festival that celebrates the birth or incarnation of Lord Vishnu in his third avatar, **Varaha**. Varaha is depicted as a boar, and in this form, Vishnu rescued the Earth (personified as the goddess Bhudevi) from the demon Hiranyaksha, who had submerged it in the cosmic ocean.
This incarnation symbolizes the restoration of dharma (righteousness) and the protection of the universe from evil forces. The festival is observed mainly in temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu, with prayers, rituals, and fasting by devotees.
Varaha Jayanti usually falls in the Hindu month of **Bhadrapada**, typically in August or September, based on the lunar calendar.
